Job Description


This position is responsible for the cycle counting function, which includes all inventory items as well as, work-in-process (WIP) items.  Responsible for maintaining accurate inventory data at all times.  Will be required to work in high places and operate forklift and lift trucks at times. Will take a leadership role in training and assisting team members as needed.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Perform regular cycle counts of finished goods and components
  • Verify the accuracy of inventory
  • Aid in locating materials in Warehouse
  • Investigate discrepancies between electronic and actual inventory counts on shop floor
  • Make periodic adjustments to electronic inventory to match physical counts
  • Perform other duties and assist in other areas as needed

  • Knowledge in the use of safety practices
  • Will have a thorough knowledge of all manufacturing methods, techniques, and related equipment
  • This position requires that the person be a highly organized, self-motivated individual who can work independently
  • Must have strong leadership skills, with excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Must be able to manage multiple tasks and priorities and easily adapt to changing situations
  • Will be computer literate, particularly in shop floor control, production planning, and inventory control applications

Job Requirements

Education and Experience Requirements                                                                            

  • High school diploma or equivalent or 2+ years related experience in a warehouse shipping/receiving environment
  • 1+ year of Forklift experience required
