This role provides hands-on leadership and drives results for the API Delevan business. Directs the successful development and execution of the company vision, strategy, and operating plan to ensure continued growth.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Lead strategy and policy deployment activities to identify breakthrough objectives for the business unit that generate above market growth and consistently meet targets for margin, profitability, and working capital.
  • Model and build a proactive and hands-on culture, in line with our Core Values and Guiding Principles, fostering high employee engagement and focus on results.
  • Leverage the Altra Business System (ABS) tools to drive operational and commercial
  • Provide leadership to the commercial team to ensure growth and margin expansion.
  • Determine sales quota goals for the field sales organization for each market segment and distribution channel.
  • Develop deep, collaborative relationships with key clients and channel partners.
  • Works closely with the finance team to develop budgets, manage company P&L, and properly plan and deliver forecasted.
  • Optimize working capital while maintaining delivery and service to the customer.
  • Build and manage a world-class team of high-performing talent.
  • Ensure organizational sustainability by hiring, managing, developing, and building bench strength to prepare for growth.
  • Ensure organizational legal and regulatory compliance.
  • Travel 20-30% of time, domestic and international.

Job Requirements

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or related discipline is required, MBA is preferred.
  • At least 10 years of experience managing teams, including cross-functional leadership.
  • Substantial cross-functional experience/exposure in two or more key business functions including operations, sales, finance, engineering, marketing, etc.
  • Global customer/market experience in North America, Asia, and Europe.
  • Knowledge of basic financial concepts including P&L management, return on assets, financial forecasting, and budgeting.
