If you answered yes, then look no further. Thomson BSA is looking for Operations Manager to join our Fremont team.
As an Operations Manager at Thomson BSA, you can expect to:
- Demonstrate people management skills: D.L. to supervisor level (mentor, develop, organize, assess, discipline).
- Strength in process design and implementation for sustainment (builds systems to stabilize, control and sustain).
- Focus on daily management of OTD and productivity (key performance indicators).
- Lean proficiency and aspiration (proclivity for driving improvements through continuous improvement or kaizen methods).
- Understanding and commitment to EHS (risk reduction, waste stream management, environmental impact).
- Ability to plan for growth and execute (labor management, capex planning, facilities).
- Facilities oversight and management capability (preventative maintenance, building maintenance and improvement).

Job Requirements
We are looking for a team member with the following:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required. Engineering major preferred. Advanced business degree beneficial.
- Minimum of ten years overall manufacturing management experience is required with at least five years in a similar manufacturing environment preferred. Experience within the Motion Control Industry is a plus.
- Machine Shop experience required.
- English fluency required.
- Extensive experience utilizing ABS/Lean Tools to achieve sustained breakthrough improvements and specific experience with cellular manufacturing, process improvement, and new product introduction is required.
- Must be willing and able to travel international and domestic by all forms of transportation. Travel is occasional.
