This position is responsible for supervising production associates in the delivery of high quality products to our customers. The position is accountable for achieving targets related to safety, quality, delivery, inventory, and productivity.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Along with those identified below, other duties may be assigned. 

  • Train associates in proper manufacturing techniques.
  • Ensure ABS tools are being properly applied (5S, Daily Management, etc.).
  • Ensure associates comply with Company policies and procedures.
  • Maintain proper staffing levels.
  • Daily Management of SQDIP objectives & goals (safety, quality, delivery, inventory, and productivity).
  • Responsible for implementation of countermeasures for misses to daily/weekly KPI goals.
  • Responsible for managing production work schedules.
  • Deliver products that meet all quality, cost, and quantity requirements.
  • Collaborate with Engineering, Quality, and Sales to meet and exceed customer expectations.
  • Maintain working relationship with the union by following the terms of the collective bargaining agreements.

Job Requirements

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in business, engineering, or related field preferred, or equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum of 5 work years-experience in a manufacturing environment, electronics manufacturing preferred.
  • Supervision experience in a production environment required.
  • Experience with ISO:9001 and AS9100 preferred
  • Experience with lean manufacturing preferred
